The new Graduate School "Health Policy and Systems in Uncertainties" aims to embrace an interdisciplinary perspective to the study and design of health policy and health systems under situations of uncertainty (i.e. limited experience of probabilities of events). Uncertainties are examined from theoretical, empirical, and methodological perspectives to better understand the consequences of uncertainties for health system resilience and systems’ capacity to act towards improved population health.

Aufgaben

The selected doctoral candidates will design and implement their own research project and prepare a doctoral dissertation within the Graduate School. We expect active participation in the graduate school. It includes attendance in the teaching programme for the doctoral students (e. g. workshops, methods lab, reflexive fora, and round tables) and the scientific events of the School (e. g. guest lectures and conferences).
